It's an expression.
The title... I... I don't know either. *sigh*
I just needed a title and that's really all that came to mind...
ANYWAY!
I am almost at 5k for my novel's word count. I wrote 497 words today so far, and I only need 237 to hit 5k. You will NOT believe how tempted I am to just add in all the extra words in my book. >. > Cause I see them right there, and the total word count of my book...
I had to. Had to. Couldn't resist.
It really is. Right now, it's at 9048. So happy! Even if that isn't my NaNo number.
So right now, I managed to sneak in a pre-written scene into the story. ;-; I am sad because the original was perfect, and it was written for Akatsuki. But when I really think about it, he would never go in a market. So the scene is now Kah's.
I have to keep telling myself that Akatsuki is not my main character. Stop being confused, Niitari! Stop eht!
I made an avatar of Kah because whyyyyyyyyyyyyy not?
When he was younger I guess...
Also, I don't know if I like the gray eyes... I might keep them gray I suppose. I just never asked myself what his eye color was. His most distinguishing feature is the horrific disfigurement on the left side of his face. And that is about it. I think I mentioned his hair was black somewhere. I don't even know his age yet. Appearance is not über important to me. Personality and development are.

As much as I would love Kah to tell the story, and as awesome of a main character he would be...
No.
Just no.
Sorry Kah D:
Upon realizing that he is becoming too much of main character/narrator material, I need to go write a different character in.
I also feel like I would be 'copying' Liam by having a slave for a main character. It would make for one pointless argument on my part, seeing as there are tons of slaves as MCs in books... but whatever. So I need to go write a different character into the book now to distract me from Kah >. >
I know who I WANT to write in next. He is a city guard in a city where there is never any sun. It is just that dark. It's awesome. But the city guard appears later in the book, and I don't want to get too ahead of myself. It would be ridiculous to write him in, only to scrap all of it later.
;-; But I wanna write him sooooo bad. He's such a dork xD
I also need to name these people. I've introduced at least six new people since I started writing this damn thing, and only three were given names >. > Like, crap, the MC doesn't even have a name.
Yah know, maybe the MC just wont have a name. He's not exactly human or anything. They'll just call him by all his little phrases and things that they've been calling him up to this point: "master", "Falgarith", "dark one on a night-blood steed". Etcetera.
We shall see... we shall see... we shall see... yah see?
