Day 19: once upon a december

Yah, December's not here yet, but it's coming...
And I was listening to "Once Upon a December" from the Anastasia movie. Just watched that last night... for the first time.
Yah, I'm behind on "animated films that everyone else grew up with". Also the new superhero movies. I have a list of all the new superhero movies I haven't seen yet... (Amazing Spiderman 1 and 2, Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2, Man of Steel) At least I got to see Guardians of the Galaxy last night. Whoo! I AM GROOT!
Also, big shout out to the movie Dracula Untold. It's the latest vampire flick starring Bard from the Hobbit movies. It's a very compelling story taking the actual life history of Vlad the Impaler (the guy Bram Stoker's Dracula was based off of) along with the elements of Bram Stoker's Dracula story. It was so well done. I loved it! And the effects were gorgeous!
So go put that on your list!
Of course, the internet is all abuzz with Hunger Games: Mockingjay coming to theaters soon.
No, I won't go watch it.
Or Catching Fire.
I have seen Hunger Games maybe two times, and then the parody movie done a-la-Vampires Suck and Meet the Spartans.
I probably mentioned this a hundred times, but I am not a fan of the series, movies, books: the whole friggin shebang. And it has little to do with the fact that I love Battle Royale so much better and would DIE if I could get my hands on the novel...
Yes, BESIDES that, I do not like Hunger Games at all.
Which you're probably wondering: why doesn't the person who made MINSTREL not like Hunger Games? It's got blood, death, and children fighting against each other in a Highlander-esque match to the death. Would that not be your favorite thing ever (even if it can't compare with BR by a billion...)

Actually, yah know what, don't bother waiting for me to write a blog post, cause nevermind. Screw it. Just go read his, cause it's perf.
And watch the movie. The movie is awesome! It's on Netflix for free! So is the sequel. Which is also perf. (not the sequel in itself, the sequel was really kinda lame, but the fact that BR is on Netflix for free is perf).
