Not much happening. I've been making some forum theme stuff. Thought I'd show.
If you have multiple themes or the site you're on has them but you don't know how they work, click HERE
If you want to see how they're made or want tutorials on anything, I learned about a free program called join.me which is a screenshare chat. It's safer than skype or google chat in my opinion because you never see any faces or personal information. You just click a link, start the session, and you get to see the host's current screen.
ANIME
So, I've watched two whole anime in the course of a week. Both are very good.
Code;Breaker
I mentioned that I was watching Code;Breaker. Well, I finished it. And it was a good. Sadly, according to fans, they cut out too much from their first season and most likely won't do a second. Which is okay I guess. The first season ending wrapped things up well enough to be standalone.
It's about people with powers being used by the government to wipe out targets that the government wants done without any traces back to them. However, one of these powered Code;Breakers gets a little pissed off at the forced imprisonment and experimentation on those not deemed "strong enough" to be Code;Breakers, and he decides to do something about it. But rather than the story being about him, it's about the Code;Breakers out to stop him and the random human girl that was in the wrong place at the wrong time, who is trying to teach the sanctity of life to the most apathetic of these Code;Breakers.
Yay pacifism (sarcasm).
It was very good. I enjoyed it a ton and even got some ideas for Aisthesis out of it ^^
WARNING: Um... sad ;-; It can be ver sad.
Ga-Rei-Zero
Ugh.
Okay, it was a good anime, considering it was just a prequel to the manga. But I think episode 1 was my favorite despite it's horrible ending.
It's about people who fight off the supernatural. Sorry, I don't have a better explanation than that. The story follows one of these fighters and how she came to be so powerful.
It was very sad and surprisingly a good story. I guess watch it if you have nothing better to do.
WARNING: random boob scene. I have no idea why it was there... And there is lots of blood in episode 1.
TRUST ME THERE IS o.o
Le Portrait de Petit Cossette
A young man falls in love with a ghost trapped inside a cursed object. Rather an interesting premise.
It's a very weird anime because it seems as though the team had ADHD concerning their, um, creative 'camera' angles and the CONSTANT switching between them all.
But if you can get past that, it is visually stunning and very intricate concerning plot. It's not uber hardcore or intensive. It only spans three episodes. But it has a lot of darkness mixed with beauty. Hard to really explain, but I liked it a lot. And the music is gorgeous.
WARNING: LOTS of blood. Maybe not Higurashi amounts but... well... that's probably cause there's only three episodes. But it has LOTS of blood. Everywhere.
Gantz
Holy frakking hell.
So, two highschool friends are run over by a subway train and wake up inside a room with a lot of other 'dead' people. A mysterious black sphere in the middle of the room gives them this message:
"Your lives are over now you bastards. What you do with your new lives is up to me."
And then the sphere gives them suits and weapons and orders them to hunt down aliens within a one hour time limit.
It's a brutal anime, not for the faint of heart. Considered psychological, supernatural, ecchi, science fiction, something something.... it mixes lots of different genres. It covers rather heavy material such as sex, rape, murder, and pretty much brings morality in general into question.
When I say sex and rape, I DO mean sex and rape. There is one attempted rape scene, two full on sex scenes, and LOTS of naked boobs. Not to the extent of a Robert Rodrigeuz film, but pretty darn close enough.
It is a MAJOR FEELS RIDE. Oh gawd. I swear they beat Attack on Titan with all those feels. It's horrifying.
But enough of that, consider giving it a shot.
WARNING: sex, nudity, and LOTS OF BLOOD EVERYWHERE. I swear they beat Higurashi and Umineko with this one. Definitely the bloodiest, goriest anime I've seen.
Currently I'm watching Cowboy Bebop. It's okay. I like the later episodes better than the early ones.
