Challenging Myself

I do literally nothing all day long, and I lament my lack of skills in certain areas. So I have decided to challenge myself.
I must write 100 words of a story (not an rp, a STORY) a day, and I must draw something, anything at least ONE thing, every single day.
Every. Single. Day.
Practice makes perfect after all.

So to start off the little challenge thing, um, I got my drawing done!

Obviously not the best thing I've drawn since I'm out of practice, but I'm still very satisfied with it.

So, this is my insert-OC for Attack on Titan. At least, MY version of Attack on Titan. He has an uber complex backstory that I'm not going to totally get into right now... um... but here are the basics.
His name is Lazlo Valentine. He's 19 and he actually does not belong to any part of the canon universe (sort of).
I'm not really going to say anymore because no one cares...
Lazlo Valentine was originally an insert-OC for Black Butler, then evolved into my character Lazlo for a really, uber creepy Steampunk book I started writing a few years back... Yah...
And there's a reason why half his face is different from the other...

It's his dead twin brother.

I tried drawing the scout division jacket but failed so hard, so I just erased it.... yah...

ANYWAY!

Guess what I did today?

I dug my white wig out to try it on, because I had been struggling to keep a wig on without having my hair bulge out in the back. The wig actually fits me REALLY well. I love it to death now.
But why stop there?
So I covered my face and neck in white acrylic (water based) paint, then did my eyes in liquid eyeliner. Added some red lipstick, threw on a dress, and dragged my friend to the freeway. The cars provided some awesome lighting.

Fun, fun! We're going back tomorrow during the day to try again. I really wanted to get shots of me on the frozen lake and then with the ice covered trees behind me on the railroad tracks. But it was way to dark to trek through the woods, so yah, it'll have to be tomorrow.

I actually love how gritty the too-dim lighting and the pixelation result made the pictures look so dark and grim ^^
