I think I can start working on Infinite Sorrow again. That would make me very happeh. :3
At least I'm officially out of that Final Fantasy craze. Sheesh. I mean, I still want the games and I'm still kinda geeking out over the characters and stories and stuff, but at least I can focus on making the site and writing the book again.
I wish to toast the book Game of Thrones. Reading it has somehow helped me out of the craze! *toasts*
Another Supernatural quote for you all from the episode "Sacrifice" in Season 8. This is from yours truly, Castiel!
"You don't understand. I NEED PIE!"
If ever I meet Misha, Jensen, and Jared, I'm going to bake them all pies.
MOVING ON
ROLEPLAY
Ahh, lovely.
So Aisthesis (the collective name of AuraBound and AuraLost) is going well enough. There's a little confusion as people bounce back and forth between sites, which is totally understandable. It will pass.
The roleplay at Faulkner Lane on AuraLost is getting more intense. Who will win? The hunters or the theias? Will Marius die? Will Derek die? What poison did Sora give Derek? Can Sora and Cey save Mirabelle and Marius? What about the future that Maisie had predicted?
Oh that's right, Luna -and by that I mean Luna<3- joined AuraLost! *fist pump* She is Maisie and Nadine Winters.
Meanwhile, on AuraBound, Thane is going to Fallowdell on a whim that he will find Tai's scent there. Eriacu and Dilgan have FINALLY arrived at the St. Cerveaux Museum (it only took them since February). Aeletheia is going to show Angel a surprise. Easter is plotting something. Kazimierz knows what happened to Tai but isn't saying anything. Caspar is unconscious, leaving Melchior to fight Cassandra alone. Exeo is finally having some fun after who knows how many months of bad stuff (being kidnapped and lost is no fun after all). Oh the agony of my characters.
Forgotten Feathers
I joined this site recently called Forgotten Feathers with a character named Kyrie Barrows. Hmmm... the owner doesn't seem to be that active, but that will hopefully change.
Camp Half-Blood
One of those little meh RPs that slipped my mind... I checked back on it and noticed that Shady had moved everyone to the deleted page. Haha. My characters aren't there xD But that's because she never added them to begin with... except an old description of Loki, but who cares.

Da Werd Has Spwed
So, this morning, I went onto AuraBound and saw this conversation:
26 May 13
Dawny: Why are there two aisthesis sites???
Mania: you mean aurabound and aisthesis???
Dawny: If the other one is this one, then yes: http://auralost.weebly.com/
Mania: oooh well you know how the first one was called "rotten to the soul" or something, episode 1? well this is the next part of the big plot thing Nii has going has to do with all the missing people (because of the Venantium I assume)
Mania: I'm also going to assume that this town is where the missing end up
Mania: since it's different
Mania: hot dang there are different families too!
Dawny: That's so wierd! The two sites are going to end up coming together???
Mania: no clue, probably (and Nii's two Pendragon kids here have to do with the Pendragon family)
Dawny: Oh yeah. But unless they're missing on that site so they came here, there would end up being two of them, wouldn't there?>
Mania: there are apparently two missing kids from the pendragon family
Mania: yep it is indeed them
Dawny: So....should we be making characters on that site for when they come together or just pretending that site doesn't exist until they come together or something?
Mania: one of Nii's friends has been joining and has charies, so i'm assuming we can unofficially join now
Mania: as it she just hasn't told us yet
Dawny: They've started rping, too.
I found this conversation amusing since they had to figure it out by themselves xD But they did a pretty good job. Have some virtual cookies!
You guessed it! (or not. I don't know who you are anyway. Does anyone read this blog even? I know Filigree read one post, but that's the extent of my knowledge. Hello random Ukraine and France people! Yes, I do check my stats. It scares me. o.o)
So, anyway, AURABOUND AND AURALOST HAVE BECOME ONE! Not literally. They're both separate sites still, but point is, members are talking back and forth, Dawny and Star are making people on AuraLost already, and I am excited. Now the plots can start moving along some more.
WRITING
Infinite Sorrows is still on hold. I'm out of that Final Fantasy craze (thank goodness), but I wanted to do some more developing before I start writing. I've worked out a scene or two to get back in the mood, but as far as I'm aware, major changes will be occuring. It's not going to be much like the RP site, I cn guarantee that.
Hmm, Your Gods Will Fall is still on hold as well because of plot holes D: .
A new story is in the works. Thankfully it requires no world building. It takes place in modern day America. Yay. Easy peasy, rice and cheesy. I'm just playing around with it for fun. I'm not very serious about it. If it was rated as movie, it'd be like one of those B-Movies.
So that's the gist for now. Peace out minions.

Inspiration: I HATE IT!!!!
I HATE BEING INSPIRED TO WRITE!
Now I now what you're thinking.
You're eyebrows are going up.
You making this face o.@
And you be all like
"Whadya mean???? Aren't you a writer??? Don't you live off of inspiration and magical unicorns and that shtuff?"
Let me explain.
I hate being inspired to write something right after I have seen/read/heard about that something.
Here's an example:
I'll be watching Supernatural and then I'll think: "Well dayum, I should write a story about these guys that go hunting werewolves and shiz."
I'll be reading the Hobbit and think: "Well dayum, I should an epic fantasy series."
Or I'll be listening to the Les Miserables soundtrack and think: "Well dayum, I should write a story based on this song."
Now sometimes this sort of thinking is a good thing. Like the "reading the Hobbit" for example. I have a marvelous fantasy series concept in the works that I intend to plan out for a year maybe before sitting down to write it. It's going to be unique, gripping, with a really complex world. I already have plots picked out for five novels.
THAT'S A GOOD THING! Reading the Hobbit three times over helped inspire me to create my own epic fantasy series.
So where does the problem lie?
The problem arises when the only thing my imagination can spit back out at me is what I have just been reading/watching/listening.
Here's where this entire little rant (I suppose it's a self rant) came from, and it's probably my best example of regurgitating what I've seen.
I was inspired to write a book series called Infinite Sorrow. I had planned it to be a trilogy about mecha wars, alien life forms, reversed societies, and warring factions. Cool right? Well...
My biggest mistake was using Final Fantasy art for the cover concepts.
As I looked up the images and made the covers, I started remembering the story lines, the characters, the fangirl love I had for the series, etc. Then I looked up the game trailers, music, gaming reviews, etc. When I stumbled upon a Final Fantasy versus XIII review that praised the game beyond measure, I lost it. It reawakened my obsession with the thing and I became immersed in the (limited) storyline of theomfgsoeffinsexy main character. Then I started trying to incorporate that stuff into Infinite Sorrow, and before I knew it, my story had lost it's appeal, my interest in writing it was void, and the entire story became so messed up as I lost sight of my plan for it.
Oh the misery.
I think I've learned my lesson this time. Yes this has happened before.
Am I the only one that this happens to? I doubt it.
So my advice is: DON'T LOSE SIGHT OF YOUR STORY.
If you're finding yourself becoming sidetracked with an obsession (wether it's anime, a book, etc) stop yourself before it's too late. You have to choose which to get through first: the obsession or the book. If you pick obsession, then set the book aside. Indulge in your obsession until you're remotely satisfied or have taken the edge off, then after a week of nothing, return to your book.
If you choose book first, then block out that obsession, sit down, and focus. It can be hard, but stick with it because that is what you chose.
Suffice to say, I have chosen to let the Final Fantasy high run its course before I work on the book again or the roleplay. Both have been postponed until further notice since I'm still climbing out of it.
Hope this helps, and good luck to anyone else facing the... um, Fan High or whatever you want to call it.

Oh the Misery
Lately I've been having a case of the plot bunnies something fierce. I just opened my bedroom door and they all came tumbling into my room in massive, fluffy waves. These things are EVERYWHERE! I guess during my case of writer's block they were all breeding in secret or something just WAITING for the chance to strike!
I talked to TheJazzPony about it a bit, and she suggested I ping-pong through my stories, ie: go back and forth between them. Eventually I'll get something finished. I've decided to take her advice. So here we go people!

Your Gods Will Fall
It is a world that isn't exactly like our own, but at first glance, one wouldn't think it was much different at all. What really stands out are the giant winged beasts with the breath of flame: dragons. Here they are worshipped, sacrificed to, loved and served. They are gods, and they rule over humanity with absolute and divine power.
Alder, son of Aldred, is a young boy who lives in one of the Holy Cities. When the god Athaemos prophecizes that a foul evil has risen in the South, Alder quickly joins up with the knights to slaughter this foe, fueled by a desire for proven his worth and righteous indignation.
But when he comes face-to-face with the evil, a Dragonslayer by the name of Marius Rose, things take a horrifying turn for the unexpected and the worse. He learns of the terrible burden Marius bears, the horrendous sufferings he endures, and the monstrous things these supposedly holy gods partake in. He inevitably agrees to join sides with Marius and take down the dragons once and for all.
A storm is brewing. The tides are turning. And as all of heaven and hell breaks loose, it seems not even the Dragonslayer can stand against the power of the gods.
Infinite Sorrow: Battlefield Lullabies
It is the year 1843. The Angels have returned back to the hole from whence they came. Civilization is being restored. The Factions are growing.
But unrest remains at the heart of everything.
Reminisce of the four hundred year war that barely ended a year ago, men are being taken once more from their homes to the Stratorium Academy. The graduates are instantly sent to the Maeter Purge where the Angel threat is supposedly restrained. It shouldn't be terribly unusual, except the number of men needed is ridiculously high. Conspiracy lurks at every corner. Leaders are dying left and right at the hands of untraceable assassins. The faction leaders are sending threats. A new power rises. War only threatens to brew once more.
Will there never be peace?
Yes! I am pumped for both novels and can't quite decide which to focus on first, hence my diverting to the ping-pong method. Both are generously inspired by anime and video games that I love, both have a host of characters I can't wait to meet, and the plots are enough to draw me in yet loose enough for flexibility.
My only concerns:
Your Gods Will Fall: Needs some more world developing. Like a lot. I'm also not entirely sure where the plot will go.
Infinite Sorrow: Not sure which characters I want to focus on. I have two picked out, but I really wanted to do a third and maybe a fourth. Just can't decide on who the third and fourth ought to be.
Both: There are Holy places. In YGWF, there's the Holy Cities. In ISBL, there is the Holy Fallen Empire. Meh. I'll probably change YGWF then...
So yah! Writing!
As far as Roleplay goes: INFINITE SORROW is becoming a roleplay site! WHOARGH! Stay tuned!

So, It's May
I haven't been posting much of anything this month, and I am determined to post more because, well, I really don't know.
BECAUSE I CAN!
Let's start with writing updates.
WRITING
nothing
THE END
ROLEPLAY
Aisthesis: Oh, it's going swimmingly. The plots are all moving along. More surprises in store.
SECRET PLOT: mufufufu
New Secrete Academy: More random talking. I swear the bad guy escaped the basilica by now. Firo better learn English soon, because frankly, I don't care to google translate everything. It's not even THAT accurate.
Race Horse Central: When are we ever going to know the results of those races?
The Walking Dead: Idk
Camp Half-Blood: Idk some more
Mercury Boarding School: Idk
Janlea City: idk... didn't it die or something?
Everlasting Skies: SO FREAKING EMPTY!!! *tumbleweed*
When Winter Cries: Even worse than Everlasting Skies!
Blood Red Ashes: Died. But whatever I still roleplay with Dirune and Wolffie chats on occaision.
Midnightering:
Oh yah, I reopened Midnightering. I forget if I told you already (whoever you may or may not be). It's a writing contest site. Two contests are going, and I really should switch out the prompts. It's going well enough. I hope more people join up for our contests cause so far they look LAME.
And that is the extent of roleplay.
But seriously though, back to WRITING: I am working on two short stories for the Midnightering contest. I'm using the prompt with the sharks floating through the forest and for my songfic, I'm either doing Masquerade from Phantom of the Opera or Dancing on the Berlin Wall by David Lanz. Either one, both are cool.
I'm also in a contest with a friend (just a friendly contest between friends) and we intend on going through all the Harris Burdick pictures. Right now, we're working on A Strange Day In July.
I am also attempting at a 2000 word description for Luna Shylock Amore. I love that character <3 *squee*. Especially his picture.
REALITY
My friend TheJazzPony is teaching me the violin. I can play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and that's it. She played several songs on it for me including The Battle of the Pelennor Fields from Lord of the Rings. Then she played on the piano for an hour or so and it was AMAZING! She plays a stunning version of Dancing on the Berlin Wall and Scarborough Fair that I absolutley adore.
BECAUSE I CAN!

And just for the sake of my own safety: NO I do NOT own the original images. If people really want to start a law suit, I will go hunt down the random locations that I pulled the images from.
Also: he is NOT a werewolf.
So anyway, 2000 words. Yay. So far I'm at 300 something... we'll see how it goes.
ART
I found a rather cool blog for some awesome digital art: Ryan Gitter. I intend on borrowing some of it for future graphics on an upcoming site. It's working title is Children of Fire. To those who may remember (I think Elza is the only one who ever would), it is a remake of my old site Asylus Souls with small parts inspired by Scimitar's site Dawn of Darkness.

So, It's May Already
Welcome to May. It's been quite a pleasant one really with some fine weather, though just this afternoon, it's gotten chilly and cloudy. Ugh.
BTW, I never explained this, and I figured I should because I know I'll refer to this later:
Serious RPs
Roleplays I am very serious about being on when it comes to character creation activity, plot development, involvement, rp quality, etc.
Meh RPs
Roleplays I am usually laid back about when it comes to character creation, activity, and quality of rp. They can be of any genre.
There. So now when I say Meh RP or Serious RP, yall will know what I mean.
Camp
Well, Camp is over and I finished at my goal of 15K words. Someday I will do better.
Wattpad
Recently released Long Lost Letter By Edgar Allen Poe as well as about 12 or so chapters of Death Eaters. Comments and votes and reads would be L-O-V-E-L-Y.
Midnightering
Yesterday, I brought back Midnightering which has already gained about three or four members since then. I'm quite excited for the fun-ness we're going to have with it.
The Walking Dead
So, I recently joined a new Meh RP called The Walking Dead. I have quite a few characters: Azazeal Forsythe, Foxy, Samrathe Clegane (lolz, Clegane... yes i read Game of Thrones), Reddard Clegane, Wrath (from Blood Red Ashes :3 ), Drucilla Woodchild (from Platwurds, but with name change), and Zzyzx Rururu. That's my new favorite name now: Zzyzx Rururu! And if ever I forget how to pronounce it, it is zz-ih-zz-ih-cks roo-roo-roo. There.
Having fun with them so far. Nothing is going on that much, so I'll update on the rp later.
And yes, the site is based off the AMC series The Walking Dead.
Note: whenever the theme song plays and you're watching the show, when it reaches the end there and puts on the series title, am I the only one who goes "The Dead Walking!!!" ? I don't know, maybe that is just me...
Race Horse Central
ANOTHER Meh RP. It's an oldie, made in 2010. Good year. It's about horses and competitions and stuff. I got Valjean DuPrae, Braedan Stormhouse, and Atash Mahnaz. I've got about three horses, a ferret, and a dog too. Fun times. Will update later on what's going down with all that.
Aisthesis
It's going swimmingly. I have whipped out the newest plot which meant, of course, NEW LAYOUT AND HEADERS! Here they all are!

It's going swimmingly. I have whipped out the newest plot which meant, of course, NEW LAYOUT AND HEADERS! Here they all are!
Episode Two begins with the strange and sudden disappearance of Taikatalvi Norcross. His father and other members frantically search for him, but the trail has gone cold. That's because Taikatalvi isn't in Gildargen anymore...
Bloodhounds! Venantium! This is the episode that will launch the site into its Golden Age! I cannot wait to see everyone's reactions when the great secret is revealed! It's almost ready, just almost. I still need more members and then we can REALLY get this show on the road. Suffice to say, I am pumped!
Aren't those headers beautiful!? :D My best headers ever created!
