So, I started Knights of Sidonia today and have seen five episodes so far. In the words of some youtuber or other, it's Attack on Titan... in space.
Sort of.
So, the similarities would be that it's the last scraps of humankind just trying to survive while they fend off impossible enemies. They don't know the origin of the enemies, and their own history has been diluted over the past hundred years. But that's pretty much where the similarities end. The characters are vastly different. I mean, Nagate is no Eren.
I'm really enjoying it despite the different animation style. It is a very good storyline, and even just five episodes in, I'm pretty hooked. I can't wait to see what else is in store.

So This Time I Did A Thing
Been a busy week really.
Got evicted Tuesday, quit my job and packed everything Wednesday, then went to WI at 3am Thursday. Gotta go back this weekend to get my stuff and my cat.
It's been very stressful.
But I am happy to be back in the beautiful and amazing Wisconsin. Even if it is so gosh dang cold as butt all the time. Eesh. I missed the woods and the lake and my amazing friends ^^
Speaking of, just on, eh, Friday, my friend TheJazzPony and I did a photo shoot in the woods: formal dresses and varied props.
It has heart warming and depressing moments with plenty of sadness, problems, comedy, and adventure to balance everything out. And I just love the drawing style. There's something so nostalgic about it. Don't be fooled though. While kids could definitely watch it, it's not a kids show. It has some heavier political plots to it that they probably would not understand.
Anyway.

So yah. Fun.
As expected, I have had a horrible time keeping caught up at working on Write This Down. I shudder to look at my Daily Word Count to reach the goal on time...

Okay, not THAT bad.
I also binge watched the rest of Kemono no Soja Erin. It is an EXTREMELY AMAZING anime! Holy cow. Go watch it! Yes, it is extremely slow, but it is so good, and I loved it. Except, well, that ending could have been done a liiiitle differently cause they didn't answer a question or two in the end. But my ship set sail, and that's all that really matters.
It's about Erin who works as a beastinarian to save the life of a creature called a Beast-Lord (Ouju). Unfortunately, by raising it in a non-traditional way, as in by the codes laid down by humans, she develops a relationship with the beast that some rather greedy people would just love to take advantage of.It has heart warming and depressing moments with plenty of sadness, problems, comedy, and adventure to balance everything out. Anyway.
