NaNo Day 30: “Where are we going to go from here?” Songbird asked.

“Where are we going to go from here?” Songbird asked.
~ Write This Down

Where are we going to go from here?
Well, where is here?
It's the end of Camp NaNo April 2015. I had to drop my wordcount to 10k and I validated my novel at 10,409. Not bad. Not good either. One year, I will do 50k in a camp. I am determined.

But what's next? Well, I will wrap up Chapter 6 and move on to Chapter 7. Things are rolling along slow, steady, but smooth for my novel. So I hope to finish it. If I finish it this year, that would be the best.

I finished Chapter 5 at 10, 267 words!
Now I go sleep.

~ Write This Down

Too much has been going on this month, so in a sense, I left the NaNo contest. I intend to write vigorously the next week or so till the end of April. My goal is to hit 15k. That's about a chapter and a half. If I can get that much written by the end, I will be uber excited! As such, I will keep track here to see if I can meet that goal.
But the NaNo site is in the winning phase where you can already start submitting your words. Because of that, they have denied the ability to change your word count goal. As I said, I will keep track here and try to meet the 15k goal on my own. After the camp is over, I will then enter my total results in.

So, this year, I have already written 5008 words as of this moment in time.

I started writing when the novel was at 51,090 words. My word count includes what I wrote in the novel as well as two short stories (one being 352 words, the other being 613 words). Those were the little stories I used in the Mayatari writing challenge this month. I am including them because, well, a) I wrote them this month and b) It will boost my word count.
But unless I get another prompt on Mayatari, all I am focusing on insofar is my novel.

Chapter 5 is at 8181 words currently. That means I have at least 1819 words left to write (each chapter is 10k). Then I am going to finish writing my Uslo chapter (which is plotted as chapter 6). That one is currently at 5211 words. Only 4789 left.
So those two counts combined will get me to a total of 11,616 words. Yay!
I'm not sure if I will work on Chapter 7 or.... hmmm.... I do have some of Chapter 7 written already (919 words). But I might just use the remaining time to write Chapter 9. Chapter 7 might end up changed around cause it's a very boring POV point so far. We shall see though.........

NaNo Day 20:

Sorry. Nothing to report really.
My dog was shot today. Apparently she was shot in the back at close range with a 22. It hit her lung and missed her heart by a centimeter. She's holding on alright. Has to stay at the vet's overnight.
So nothing got done today.

~ Write This Down

So, I have not done a blog post in a long while. Things have been rather chaotic to say the least. As you can guess, I also did not get much writing done. I have, however, done some rping, crafting, and working. But otherwise, no real writing.

WRITING
Okay, so, Chapter 5 of Write This Down is literally crawling along. I have... um... 2475 words left to write for that chapter...
Oh...
Just counted now. Guess that isn't bad...
YAY!
So Chapter 5 will be done soon! Hallelujah! I love Samdagas so much, but really, he's kind of, well, boring. Nothing much happens. He is setting Keenah off on her way. She will  be running into Kah, so we can have more Kah time. Yay! But otherwise, Samdagas pretty much drags the plot. I recently revitalized his chapter some by having a few plot things be mentioned (like the cultist peeps, his grandson) and of course, the Falgarith. I think Chapter 3 (Garnet) is the only chapter without that word mentioned...

I finished this day with 494 words written, bringing my total to 5008. Tomorrow, I will definitley finish C 5 and move on to C 6.

ANIME
I finished Death Parade.
HOLY SHIET.
I honest to god think this anime pretty much if not totally trumps my other favorites. It's just... ugh. Go watch it!
Then I watched Moribito, an anime I  started  back in the good old days around the time of Basilisk and Yu Yu Hakusho. It is drop dead GORGEOUS. It was produced by the same company that does Attack on Titan, so all the backgrounds are living, breathing, highly detailed, glamorously colored works of art. I also love how they portrayed the main character, Balsa. She is definitely the definition of a strong female lead.
Now I'm watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. For the most part, I'm just skimming along the beginning since it is pretty much the same as the first half of Fullmetal Alchemist. I also saw Brotherhood before, about four or five seasons of it. I'm just re-watching for reviews sake, then I plan to finish it.
I fully intend to watch Cowboy Bebop soon. Right now, I just finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist with my friends (my second, their first) and we're watching Death Parade. After that, they're gonna watch Cowboy Bebop, so I'll be watching that with them.
After FMA:B, it'll be C- The Money of Soul and Possibility Control, or just C-Control. I might watch that in between FMA:B or save it till after. It depends on wether or not I get bored...
Then, it's Umineko No Naku Koro ni, a horror anime that is apparently good enough to top a Top 5 Horror Anime list (Higurashi placed fifth on that list o.o) It is made by the same guy who did Higurashi, so I have high hopes.
Then (ugh) Future Diary. I'm finishing it for finishing sake. I really have no true interest in this anime, but I only have 6 episodes left so... yah.
Okami Kakushi. Also made by the Higurashi guy. So yah. I really don't know anything about this one...
Rurouni Kenshin. 69 episodes. This was the first anime I actually started watching by myself. Back when I was eleven, my brother and I would watch Bleach and Naruto together. The site suggested Rurouni Kenshin, so I gave it a try. It was okay. I don't remember much. Hopefully it proves to be better than I remember. Wolf's Rain sure was (omfg, that anime...). So we shall see. But still, 69 episodes...
Infinite Stratos 2 is a mecha harem anime, 2 being the second season. I decided to throw that in either halfway or right after Rurouni Kenshin. Depends on how bored I get.
And by bored, it doesn't mean the anime is bad. It just depends on my attention span. I'm used to 12-26 episode animes. 69 is quite the leap.

RP
Ugh, so much rp. I'll talk about it tomorrow ;-;

NaNo Day 2: If there were demons as frightful as that, to make the hardest of hearts melt a little in fear, what really were they up against?

 ~ Write This Down

Ah, yes, Camp NaNoWriMo is upon us. And I have adopted the nifty little "what I wrote today as my blog title" from Fili and Liam and peeps.
Anywho.
I wrote a lovely 389 words today. Woot! In my defense, it was a chaotic day.
I did not get anything written yesterday. I was on a train at 3am, arrived in WI at 11:30. Went to my friend's apartment and napped till 4. Then we went to her house and flailed around like tired children till falling asleep. Tomorrow will be chaotic too, but I hope to get something done.

My plan is to finish Chapter 5 and 6 of Write This Down and Chapters 3 and 4 of Orpheus Rising. That is the least amount of writing I hope to achieve in this camp. The two Write This Down chapters should rake in at least 10k words. OR, idc. It will bring something to the table.

ANIME
I finished Higurashi and all its *ahem* lovely *ahem* OVA series. I loved it very much, but man, what a trip. I highly recommend Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai. But the OVAs... um... not really. They're interesting but not necesary. Enjoy at your leisure.

I am now starting a little gem called Death Parade. It's about twelve episodes long, so not bad. The art style is very lovely. So far, I am intrigued. I've seen half of the first episode so far. We shall see how this goes.

My plan for anime is this (if I am repeating myself, sorry).

Death Parade
Moribito
Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (throw [c] halfway through)
Okami Kakushi
Rourini Kenshin (throw Infinite Stratos 2 halfway through and maybe rest of Future Diary)

FMA:B and RK are both rather long anime (64 and 95 episodes respectively) so I am throwing in some short animes (about 11-12 episodes each) into the middles to break up the monotony. I'm just not very good at binging long shows, and as I have been tailored towards short animes (26 eps at the most) 64 feels like a lot. Les Miserables was 54 eps and that was hard. Kuroko was 50 eps and that was hard. Enjoyable, but they just felt longish. Anyway. So that is my plan.
Give me suggestions for anime and I will try to get to all of them. Since I have lots of free time, I can usually get lots of anime watching done.

BTW: Umineko no Naku Koro ni and Okami Kakushi were both made by the creator of Higurashi, so I am DYING to see these (pun, pun). Umineko is supposed to be one of THE goriest anime out there. In an anime ranking of the bloodiest/goriest anime, Higurashi ranked 5th (wow...) and Umineko ranked 1st. The fact that it is 5 times gorier than Higurashi.... *flail*. I can't wait to see it now. I saw a few clips and DANG it is brutal. So I am very, VERY excited to see it. Hence why it is high on my list.
