Wishing I Had Artistic Talents...

I wish I had more artistic talent. My lack thereof stems from not practicing enough, I know. What I need is the motivation, and as I said in my previous post: bad weather and Camp have all but killed that motivation. I fully intend to pick up on photography and watercolor painting now that my creativity is slowly returning. Perhaps I'll actually get good at something.

REAL LIFE
So, I went to TheJazzPony's concert. AMAZING! It was the entirety of Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor. My absolute favorite part was Kyrie.
TheJazzPony is amazing! If all turns out well, I'm going to learn violin from her and horse riding as well as a bit of Classical Fencing (like the one you kill people with, not Sport Fencing). So excited! We'll see how this goes.

I really need to make him more childish. Mion is finally going to give Kia her freaking tattoo. I need to yell at Mania to post Dilgan already. It's been two months since we started roleplaying here and they still haven't gotten home yet!

Sorry, this isn't about the movie starring (squee) Russel Crowe.
Though I must say that the movie wasn't nearly as good as all the hype. I mean seriously, that catchphrase "Lose yourself to save what you love"? Gimme a break. Movie was like a bad, super rushed, rip off of Prison Break.

AHEM! Moving on...

OMG! THREE DAYS LEFT OF CAMP! D: I am so upset. I wanted to hit a 50k goal, and here I am floundering towards 15k. Sad, sad.
I really must blame the weather. I MUST! Rainy, wet, foggy, cold: depressing. Totally killed my creativity and motivation.
Today however, the sun i shining. The winds are warm. Birds are singing (a robin flew in the house yesterday through an open window. RANDOM!). Sky is bleu (that's French, like Les Miserables). And I have creativity! Unfortunately today is cleaning day, I'm going to TheJazzPony's concert, then sleeping over at her house, so I can't type out the 34369 words I want to. I did however type up 2000+ words today, hitting a stunning total of 13,372 something words (LAME).

I am so totally going to hit With Light and my fantasy series once Camp is over. I REALLY want to work on all my notes for the fantasy series. I'm writing bits and pieces as I go, but there's so much yet to do. Cultures, maps, languages, clothing, poetry, music, historical figures, character concepts, races, magic, etc. It's all more complex than most people think, especially if you want to craft a really good world. Most people on wattpad and things just throw a name out, a forest, a river, a castle, a bunch of squibblegins to pass for magical incantations or the words of a language, say fancy things like "Helm of Doom" and "silver plated armor" and boom! Fantasy novel! But that's not how it works. That's why those books fade into the corners of "why do I care". If I want my books to be remembered like The Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones, then I have to MAKE A WORLD.
*sigh*
Speaking of which, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and Running Red are not helping me put aside thoughts of my fantasy world that much. I also blame all that on my lack of focus on Death Eaters and creativity in general.

Moo Updates

Ugh! I've only gotten four posts in this April so far (this one will make it at five actually...). And there's only like, four or so days left of April! (including today, it's actually five days left)

I've been a bad person. Not rping a whole lot, pretty much abandoned Everlasting Skies to it's fate, and I have been playing too much Sims2 and watching too much Supernatural to do much of anything.
And while I write this I'm about to play Skyrim! Sheesh. How lame can I get?
Speaking of Supernatural, here's a Dean quote for you all:

FINALLY, after two days of promising Kiba to rp with him, I finally posted Ciel to Thane. Ugh. It wasn't the greatest post since it was nearing midnight at the time and I was watching Supernatural at the same time, so yah know, a bit distracted. Not much else happening really. Melchior and Caspar are being tested as they fight Cassandra! Will she zap them to death or will their superior cunning win out? Mion is about to give Kia a tattoo. Easter is up to something. (no spoilers here, sorry). Angel and Aletheia are skipping off to get breakfast. Poor boy is so tired! Go to bed child! "Nuu! Must further the love plot!" I think I'm pushing the love plot too far...
I also explained stats to everyone finally. I'm thinking of adding skills too (as seen in Oblivion). We'll see though...

AuraLost
Fairweather is now Constantine and they have a marvelous symbol. Pretty much on AuraLost, those are the four most powerful, old, noble, and intense families ever! Think they are King and Queens to Aisthesis' lords and ladies. The headers are beautiful, the family names are rather diverse, and the idea of Hunters and Bloodhounds against Scientists and the subjects is brilliant! Cause I mean really, who wants the same old, same old? I was thinking of having GRAIL on AuraLost too, but if I just make AuraLost a direct copy, who's gonna want to play there? So yah, that's my justification for the Hunters. They could use a new name though. Like uh... something to do with a Brotherhood or a Clan or something. Like say, the Belarus Clan or Seraphim Brotherhood. (oo that sounds good! ponder it!)

Not much. Same old. Kiba is going out with Nala and my boring posts are so boring... Crystal's trying so hard to get them to do something, poor child. I'm just not the romantic type until one of my characters actually finds a reason to be. And Kiba! Sheesh, why did I even make that boy...

Not really, okay. We are in the same Creative Writing class and both had the same assignment of writing a Harris Burdick story. So there.
As I was saying: brilliant! However am I to top that? Maybe I'll make it a comical, happy story or something.

AISTHESIS

So, I'm bringing Ciel Everette Norcross and Castiel to Aisthesis. They need homes after all, and I did make Aisthesis just for Ciel and all. (I mean come on: Norcross Family, Ciel Everette Norcross... how did I forget that boy?)

So yes, Ciel and Castiel are on Aisthesis. Do pop in and say hello to them. They're as friendly as ever.

I'm thinking of beginning construction on the second Aisthesis City. It would be most delicious if we grow enough to need it. Plus, we need to put that there airport to good use in the Third Tier of Gildargen. I need to come up with some more city names though. I was thinking of something along the lines of - Falls or -helm ( ie: Birch Falls [DZ] and Windhelm [skyrim]). We'll see.

Update at 5 pm: I have begun construction on the second Aisthesis Site: AuraLost. There is no GRAIL, instead there are non-Theia people who hunt and kill Theias. They still need a fancy-schmancy organization name, like Paladins or something. I don't know just yet. The city is called Fallowdell. There are four families: Fairweather, Engelkönig, Nightingale, and Pendragon. That means Acris and Exeo are from a noble family, ooo. Plot ideas!
On another note, I'm considering changing up Fairweather. Their banner seems so lame compared to the other three. I might just cut them out entirely.

Oh, resistance is futile. I made four new characters. Well, one of them was necesary. Arabella Noony, daughter of Hypnos. She is the little helper of the Oracle. The Oracle has plans for the child. Big plans. Ooo. The other three are Ciaran Trublood; son of Aeolus, Shia Acre; son of Proteus, and Theodred Range; son of Hades. I was really bored, you can tell. But hey! Shia is back! Let's see how well he does on this site.

Blutbad

Blood! Mufufu! I'm in one of those weird modes where a burst of creativity descends and I'm all caught up in it. This week, it seems that the muses have rolled the creativity die and it landed on blood! So now my once serene and somewhat normal head is now filled with 1001 Horrible, Bloody, Traumatic Ways For My Characters To Die!

I suppose this could be called one of my "Morbid Modes" but I mean really, I'm not the only person who gets them. For a while here, be prepared for some terrible things to happen in writing and roleplay. I have too many characters on some sites, so I think it's time I don the black hood and prepare the guillotine!

First to go is Tony from my novel Death Eaters! Her gut is slashed open by a dagger and a Death Eater feasts on her twitching body. Yum, yum!

Second is an NPC of Camp Half-Blood. Unnamed-Eight-Year-Old-Boy was compelled by Madigan Delacour (now a son of Bia) to tear open his own throat. NPC clawed it open with his fingernails and managed to rip off most of his neck before finally succumbing. Madigan then pushed him through the iron bars of a prison cell, causing the skull to implode and fracture as well as cause varied limbs to break. Lovely.

Third is Hamza Urdu of Camp Half-Blood. (what a weird name...) He's still all bloody and mangled from his little tussle with the monster Paige set on him. Poor boy. He's had a rough life already. Leave him alone! (ok maybe this one isn't death or relatively that bloody, but still... bears mentioning)

ON OTHER NOTES
New Advertisement for Aisthesis! No longer sounds like "another zombie apocalypse site". Sheesh. It's a very creepy little "nursery" rhyme, inspired in part by "And Then There Were None".

Camp Half-Blood
So I announced that I would be killing Kiba Suzuki and guess what? It's a cat fight between Shady and Crystal over the poor boy. (remind you of sakura's old site anyone?)
Crystal is using concrete proof of onwership (aka engraved stones), Shady is making gollum impersonations, I am apparently dead, and Sam is throwing munchkin cats at everyone.

And now, please, on a more serious note, I wish to tell to all who will hear of a movie I recently watched. It is an anime movie, done in an older animation style. It's called Grave of the Fireflies, and it is one of the saddest war movies I have ever seen. It's subtle, it's light. It is neither shocking nor intense or brutal, but the imagery and the meaning in it are amazing! It was quite a breathtaking movie. I had to try really hard not to cry, but around the end I was in tears. Do give it a look. Bring a tissue.

Holy frijoles! Have we boomed or what!? So many new members and characters! Mania, Kiba, Star, Dawny, Nighttie, Doritos, Meria, Sen, Isio, Elza, and me of course.
Takatalvi and Loki are the cutest ever! Close to par with Anarawd and Train! (I say close cause Train and Anarawd are so kuwaii! <3) There's also an Angel and Aeletheia love plot going on. Ooo drama!
Among other things! Whoot! I'm sorry, I can't talk too much about it. I must return to Camp soon, but I will blab about all of it eventually, mark my words.

When Winter Cries
Oh M Gee! Ink! The original site owner of When Winter Cries visited our site and was totally cool with it! That makes me fangirl squeal! *squeelzies*. It's like writing a book inspired by a popular author, then that author comes and talks to you about the book you wrote and *squeelzies*!

Hmm, I don't have much to talk about on the roleplay then... just got back into the swing of things and all. I am thinking of expanding Aisthesis in the near future. Hmm... Also I must advertise more for Aisthesis as well...


WRITING

Camp NaNoWriMo
I am a very lazy person on Camp this year. Well, at least I'm intent on finishing it this year. I wrote about 2000 words yesterday, so that's a plus. I am dragging my cabin behind in my fail of a word count, so I'd better get cracking.
TheJazzPony has been very helpful! She's always whopping my butt, and the write-ins we have are a blast. This weekend, we're going to the cemetery for a write in. That's right: a cemetery! Perfect place to write morbid scenes and steal other people's names. I mean really, I need some names. I don't want to leave the guard in my book as Bob for the rest of the novel.
I'm still on the Death Eaters portion. I have no idea when or even if I will begin working on With Light during this camp at all. I miss my vampire novel though D:
